Day 1:      IXB/NJP to Phuentsholing, 165kms in 4.5 Hrs. – We receive you on your arrival and drive to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. Check in at Hotel. Free Evening Overnight at Phuentsholing.

Day 2:      Phuentsholing to Thimphu, 176Kms in 7hrs.After breakfast and entry formalities drive to Thimphu (Alt 8979Ft / 2736M) the modern capital town of Bhutan. Check in at Hotel. Free Evening Overnight at Thimphu.

Day 3:      Full Day city tour of Thimphu. Visit Tashichhodzong, BBS Tower, Government Run Handicraft Emporium, National Memorial Chorten, Buddha View Point, Folk heritage, National Textile Museums, National Institute of Traditional Medicine (out side view) and Zoo. Free Evening Overnight at Thimphu.

Day 4:      Thimphu to Trongsa, 250Kms in 8 hrs. After breakfast drive over Dochu-la Pass (Alt 10130ft/3088M) and continue to drive till Wangduephodrang town and take a break for Lunch then continue on to Trongsa across Pele-la pass (3,300m/10,830ft), the traditional boundary between east and west.  The pass is marked by a large white chorten and prayer flags. Reach Trongsa late afternoon. Over Night at Trongsa.

Day 5:      Post breakfast sightseeing of Tsongsa. After breakfast, walk by Trongsa Dzong (built by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1647) and climb up a steep path to visit the Ta Dzong (watchtower), dedicated to the epic hero, King Gesar of Ling.

Tsongsa to Bumthang, 68 Kms in 3Hrs.After lunch checkout and drive over Yutong-la pass (3,400m/11,155ft) and reach Bumthang.Over night at Bumthang

Day 6:      Bumthang full day sightseeing. After breakfast visit the village and explore the beautiful valley of Bumthang. Drive through the picturesque valley of Bumthang and visit Jambay Lhakhang Kurje Lhakhang, Tamshing Lhakhang, and Kuenshusum Lhakhang. 

Post lunch sightseeing, Visit Jakar Dzong, built by Minjur Tempa, the 3rd Desi in 1646 AD (Desi means temporary ruler appointed by the Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal) and drive to Member (Tsho) the burning.Over Night at Bumthang

Day 7:      Bumthang to Punakha, 212Kms in 8hrs. After breakfast checkout and drive to Punakha(Alt 4300Ft ft/1310M).free evening.Overnight at Punakha.

Day 8:      Post Breakfast Punakha Sightseeing. After Breakfast visit Punakha Dzong, was strategically built at the confluence of the Pho Chu (male) and Mo Chu (female) rivers by the first Shabdrung of Bhutan, Ngawang Namgyel in 1637.

Punakha to Paro, 120Kms in 4 Hrs.Checkout and drive to Paro(Alt 7300 ft/2230M) En-route visit Simtokha Dzong, This dzong, built in 1627, is the oldest in Bhutan. Evening at Leisure. Over Night at Paro.

Day 9:      Full day city tour of Paro visit the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, 18 km. from Paro town on the north side of the valley, Also visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the kingdom.

Post lunch Paro sightseeing. After Lunch visit National Museum which used to be a watch tower for Paro Rimpong Dzong (Fortress). It was converted into Museum in 1968. Visit Paro Rimpong Dzong, the Dzong was built in 1646 AD. Overnight at Paro.

Day 10:      Taksang Monastery (Taktsang Lhakang/Tiger Nest) excursion: After breakfast drive to Satsam Chorten (10 Km from Paro) and from there walk or take a pony ride (4.5 hrs Round hike) to reach the Monastery. Walkers can enjoy a rest at the Taktsang Teahouse situated at a wonderful vantage point overlooking the monastery. On clear days you can get a clear view of mount Chomolhari the sacred peak of Bhutan. Return back to Paro. Over Night at Paro.

Day 11:      Paro Departure. After breakfast checkout and drive to Airport. Farewell and tour ends.
