Kaziranga safari can be done in 1 or 2 nights' stay at Kaziranga. We recommend staying for a minimum of 2 nights at Kaziranga so you can comfortably do Jeep safari and elephant safari both. Jeep safari is done by modified gypsy cars in Kaziranga national park. There are 4 ranges in Kaziranga national park where jeep safaris are conducted. It is about 2 – 2.5 hours of safari activity and the gypsy charges are different for different ranges. The central range of Kaziranga national park is most popular for jeep safari which is also known as the Kohora range.
Additional charges for entry tickets, vehicle entry, and the gunman are applicable. For foreign tourists forest entry charges are expensive. You can also carry a still or video camera and for that, you have to pay some additional charges.
Kaziranga is a world heritage size and you can experience wildlife inside the national park. The main attraction big five animals that you can spot in Kaziranga are one-horned rhino, Asiatic wild water buffalos, Asian elephants, swamp deer, and tiger.
